It is important for medical and dental offices to offer their patients radiology imaging services so that they can see broken bones and diagnose them correctly. By knowing what questions to ask the companies, you should be able to determine which ones are best for you. When you first contact the company, ask them how long they have been in business. Those with several years of experience should have more supplies, instruments, and radiology systems that your technician can use. Ask the company for their contact info, hours of operation, and location. It is important for you to choose a company that is open at the right hours in case you need a tech to repair your systems so that you can provide the diagnostic procedures that your insured patients need. When you find companies that do not have the equipment, supplies, or repair services that you need, you can cross them off your list. Those that are left should be appropriate for you. Ask them to give you a written price quote for their x ray supplies. After you have gathered several quotes you can compare them to choose one that fits your budget.

When someone fears they have broken a bone, they will usually go to an x-ray lab in order to see if they did break it or not. X-ray laboratories specialize in using x-rays to peer into the human body in an noninvasive manner. Many doctors send patients to x-ray labs because they themselves do not have x-ray machines in their offices. Most hospitals have x-ray labs on the premises but many x-ray labs are independent. Some x-ray labs also have other kinds of machines capable of peering into the human body in a noninvasive manner such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines or computed axial tomography scanners (CAT scanners or CT scanners). Some kinds of x-ray labs specialize in animal x-rays. Some kinds of x-ray labs are not involved in medicine at all. Some x-ray labs use x-ray telescopes to peer into space while others use x-rays for industrial purposes.
